WHY isn’t this one available on dvd in the U.S.?!!! It was YEARS before I was able to obtain the Bridgewater and Lancaster canal episodes missing from the “Best Of-“ dvd series, but I am still unable to find this one, for heavens sake. So it wasn’t the most civilized experience, or something, who cares-it was real, and much more importantly it has scads of tremendously positive material about London-the parks, the zoo, the London canal museum, Limehouse, the Grapes pub, and more.

This would be my fourth time watching the complete series. I always find something interesting that I’ve missed. Well done Tim & Prunella.

We are back once again to watch these fantastic videos. These have inspired my wife and I to long to visit the canals, taste the food and visit the pubs. It's on our Bucket list and we never had a bucket list really until now. I want to include all of the narrowboat channels that have encouraged us to come!

I'm mesmerized with your adventures and so happy in my soul, simply because you conquered your dreams of life. As a senior, a bit shaking, you gave me hope. See you all in Amsterdam.

On top of all the gifts these two greats of the stage and screen have given to us over their careers, this series really is the crowning jewel. Their love for the people and places and history of England is infectious and inspiring. Thank you, Tim and Pru, and God bless!

Thank you so much for your magnificent video, I have always wanted to travel on canal boats through England. Unfortunately my wife can no longer travel except locally for the day in my home country. I love England, but live in Cape Town.

These two lovely people should be an example for all of us. Because of my age (63) and the fact that I fall in love with my current wife (since 2010) who is 23 years younger we probably can´t celebrate our 50th year of marrige. What a delightful program thank you from New Zealand

Watching again on what we celebrate as the 4th of July in the US. Lots of fireworks going off around the neighborhood. Back on topic...Watching this series as often as we have, my wife and I, it's almost a longing feeling. I don't know how else to describe it or if this will ever be read, but it's as if we were homesick in the pit of our stomachs like when we were children, but instead of wanting to go home to our parents, we wanted to watch Tim and Pru travel the canals. If I do nothing else in this life, the one thing I want to do is come over for a few weeks and travel by narrowboat. I know she is not well and it saddens me. @Chris Cole~I do hope that when she passes, you will do some sort of a memorial video so that we may all pay our respects. Thank you so much!
